First up, two new screenshots focusing on the Super Saiyan 3 Goku vs Kid Buu fight are shown below. Reports indicate that there was a lot added to this fight in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, so that it’ll be longer than the traditional fight in typical DBZ games. One shows Super Saiyan 3 Goku dodging an attack from Kid Buu, whereas the other shows Kid Buu landing a devastating shot on Goku in DBZ: Kakarot.

The next set focuses on the character of Vegito, with one showcasing Goku and Vegeta fusing and the other focused on Super Saiyan Vegito. For those who may be unaware, Vegito is the fusion that occurs between Goku and Vegeta through the use of the Potara Rings, and Gogeta - in contrast - is the result of the fusion dance. Reportedly, Vegito is the most powerful character in the original Dragon Ball Z manga.
Finally, the last set of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot screenshots focus on the more serious nature of Adult Gohan. One shows him in the Kai’s world in his Kai garb, seemingly some time before his Ultimate Gohan form is unlocked, and the other showcases him using an attack. These new screenshots indubitably go a long way in giving fans of the franchise a taste of what’s to come.
That said, there’s no final judgment on what will and won’t appear in Dragon Z: Kakarot beyond what’s revealed so far. Dragon Ball Super or even filler content like movies or the Garlic Jr. Saga can still potentially appear in the game, but for now, fans of the franchise will have to wait and see.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launches on January 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
