The statue, made in collaboration with Prime 1 Studio, is a 1/3 scale rendition of Phoenix’s Joker standing on the iconic staircase from Joker. It is a “Museum Masterline” figurine releasing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the character.

Also included with the Batman-adjacent statue are interchangeable hand and face parts, props like a “gun” and “magic flower wand,” and a “clown mask” pre-order bonus. Pre-orders will be available starting on May 14, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. JST on Prime 1 Studio’s website, and delivery is expected between April and June 2021.
According to Prime 1 Studio, the statue is a “sensuous, sophisticated piece of art.” Whether that makes it worth $1,299 for fans of the movie Joker is completely up to them, but given the recent sales of an expensive Death Stranding jacket there’s a chance someone will be willing to open their wallets.
