The latest issue of Weekly Jump has confirmed that My Hero One’s Justice 2 will feature the same combat system as the original game, but with a much larger roster of heroes. We know that the roster will include some season 4 characters, but only one has been confirmed so far. As it turns out, My Hero One’s Justice 2 will feature Kai Chisaki, whose quirk is called “Overhaul.”

Other details on the new My Hero Academia video game are scarce, except that Quirk abilities are being “significantly upgraded.” What that means exactly remains to be seen, but hopefully Bandai Namco releases a trailer for My Hero One’s Justice 2 sooner rather than later so any speculation can be put to rest.
As mentioned previously, My Hero Academia has had an increasing presence in video games. Besides My Hero One’s Justice, there was a Japan-only game that released on the 3DS as well, not to mention more My Hero Academia characters have been added to the Jump Force roster. Since launch, we’ve also seen Bakugo and All Might added to Jump Force, giving My Hero Academia significantly more representation in the crossover fighting game.
In the future, more My Hero Academia video games are likely, especially if One’s Justice 2 is successful. As for when fans can expect those games, or even One’s Justice 2, that remains to be seen. No release date has been given at the time of this writing, but with the season 4 premiere of the anime right around the corner, fans may not have to wait long for more details on the new game.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 is in development for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
