First reported by CNET on Thursday, the Rust programming language (designed by Mozilla in 2017 to be more secure) will be integrated into the main component of the Linux operating system, known as the kernel. University President Garnett S. Stokes and athletic director Eddie Nunez presented recommendations to cut men’s soccer, along with the men’s and women’s skiing and beach volleyball programs, during a special meeting.
